Throughout the summer, areas of great birding include the Kenai Wildlife Refuge, Bridge Access Road near the mouth of the Kenai River, Homer, Katchemak Bay, Seward, Cook Inlet, Resurrection Bay, Gull Island, and the Barren Islands to name a few. Amateur and professional, full or part time Birders have tremendous access.
