Exciting Alaska adventures are not hard to come by and June of 2012 has been no exception. First off . . . look at that beautiful King Salmon caught by Gayle Schnell, vacationing at the lodge with her husband Dan. That's Brian as the guide from Russell Fishing and the trophy fish measured in at 45.5 inches and 50lbs. Next off, what is an "ultimate fly-in" trip? Just what it sounds like. An all day (or even several day) trip to amazing places in Alaska for amazing adventures. Owners took one to a secret destination somewhere past Lake Clarke. Here's a shot of the plane at our destination . . . A little variety in your life? Believe us, Alaska's Kenai Peninsula has plenty to offer in that regard. That's Jacob with a trophy pike caught on the ultimate fly-in trip. Here is the secret pike fly we sold to someone not catching fish. Paid for the trip . . . Finally, here's one of several buckets of of nice Alaskan Razor Clams. Got 54 lbs of cleaned clams in all on an amazing charter across Cook Inlet on a minus 5 tide. So fishing for salmon in the rivers, digging for clams at low tide on the beach, flying to remote locations in the wilderness . . . these are just some of the wonderful things a trip to Alaska's Kenai Peninsula in the summer is all about. We will see you soon - at Alaska Hooksetters Lodge!
