Alaska Hooksetters Lodge saw it's most successful season yet in 2012 and we will be sharing more of the excitement, memories and adventure over the coming months. But it's also not too early to start thinking about an Alaska trip in 2013. After all, the earlier you book your vacation the more choices you have and possibly better deals. With this in mind we will be spotlighting all of our 2013 Alaska vacation packages as well. So check back with us and share with your family and friends. One thing we can say for sure - whether you're a regular annual Kenai Peninsula visitor or a first time adventurer, every trip to Alaska is one-in-a-lifetime. Ben Hulbert and Capn Gilz both guides for Hooksetters with a 30+ inch rainbow - a frequent visitor to the middle Kenai - taken on a well presented bead. Alaska Hooksetters guest Ray Holdem was lucky enough to land "and release" this beautiful Kenai King Salmon....just before the season closed. An August trip down the Kasilof caught this group of bears...a sow and two large cubs, riverside searching for salmon. Not seen is Mamma bear who stayed close by watching her cubs.
